If you are awarded a scholarship, and are receiving a Centrelink payment, you should declare your scholarship to Centrelink. Your offer of scholarship letter or email can be used to clarify the details of your award.
For information on whether your scholarship will affect your Centrelink payment, visit the Centrelink website.
Every semester after being awarded a scholarship you will need to confirm you are still eligible for payment. This process is undertaken online. The ongoing eligibility acknowledgement form will also allow you to indicate if you wish to defer your scholarship, or if you are no longer eligible to receive your scholarship.
Completion of the process is essential for payment of your scholarship.
Payments of Scholarships are typically made to students in late April (for Semester 1) or late September (for Semester 2).
Ongoing scholarship recipients must complete an ongoing eligibility acknowledgement in Pandora before payment is made.
Your bank details must be entered in Pandora at the time of accepting a scholarship.
Make sure the BSB and account number are correct. Payments made to a wrong account may take months to recover or may not be recovered at all. A corrected payment cannot be made until the funds are recovered.
Payments are not made until enrolments are confirmed after the census date of each semester.
