iCardio PhD Scholarship
Description

This scholarship is for a PhD student to undertake a research study at the University of Western Australia, in partnership with Liverpool John Moores University, UK to explore how advanced exercise physiologists could help to prevent cardiovascular disease in the UK through assessment, physical activity intervention and behaviour change.

Available in the 2020 round for Domestic applicants and UWA International Graduates

Eligibility

Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria for enrolment in a Doctor of Philosophy at UWA, including a high level of English language proficiency. The current requirements for IELTS (Academic) is 6.5 overall with no band less than 6.0.

Additionally, applicants will have:- demonstrated background in clinical exercise and research - Bachelor degree in Sport and Exercise Science with research training (Honours, Masters degree) or equivalent- ESSA accreditation is desirable
