Arthritis & Osteoporosis WA Research Scholarship in Bone and Mineral Disorders
Description

Arthritis & Osteoporosis WA is an organisation established to reduce the incidence and disabling effects of arthritis, osteoporosis and related conditions in the people of Western Australia. The Arthritis Osteoporosis Foundation of Western Australia and The University of Western Australia are pleased to announce a scholarship funded by the Foundation to undertake a PhD in the area of bone and mineral clinical research. The purpose of the scholarship is to enable medical doctors undertaking advanced training via the Royal College of Australasian Physicians, or high quality science Honours graduates, to undertake a Masters by Research or PhD by research.

Available in the 2019 round for Domestic applicants and UWA International Graduates

Advanced Trainees of the Royal College of Australasian Physicians who have completed the first two years of advanced training in any speciality, or high quality Science Honours graduates are encouraged to apply for this scholarship to undertake a Masters by Research or PhD. All applicants should contact Prof RL Prince School of Medicine University of Western Australia and Dept. of Endocrinology Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital at richard.prince@uwa.edu.au  for further information, before submitting an online application for candidature and the scholarship through the iAthena Scholarship system. The selection body reserves the right to close early should a suitable applicant be identified.
