The Robert and Maude Gledden Postgraduate Scholarships are prestigious awards offered to domestic students to undertake postgraduate research at The University of Western Australia in applied science, more particularly relating to surveying, engineering, mining or cognate subjects.
The scholarships are typically awarded to PhD students enrolled in the Faculty of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences and the Faculty of Science, however applications from students with relevant research projects in other faculties will also be considered.
The Gledden Scholarships provide a stipend of $38,000 per annum plus a travel allowance of up to $5000. Other benefits include Relocation and Thesis Allowances, with a total scholarship package of over $100,000 over three and a half years.
Available in the 2019 round for Domestic applicants and UWA International Graduates

Please note that these scholarships are available for commencing Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students only. Applicants must not have been enrolled in the proposed HDR prior to the commencement of the scholarship.
