UWA Diversity and Merit Awards
Description

Awards will be made in the following categories:

  • Two awards for the highest-ranking Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander students;
  • Two awards for the highest-ranking students from a low income background;
  • Two awards for the highest-ranking students with a disability (The Just Ability Awards);
  • Two awards for the highest-ranking students from a non-English speaking background;
  • Two awards for the highest-ranking female students studying an Engineering course; and
  • Six awards for the highest-ranking students from a rural or remote region.

Available in the Future Student Round 2018.

Eligibility
  • To be eligible for consideration for an award, students must:
  • be permanent residents or citizens of Australia; and
  • have applied through TISC for a place at UWA, nominating an appropriate UWA course as their first preference for the first round of offers

UWA Diversity and Merit Awards for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, students from a low-income background, students with a disability, students from rural or remote regions and students from a non-English speaking background require applicants to complete the on-line application form by close of business on the 30th November.  To start the application go to the Further Information Links.

All other awards will be made automatically to the highest-ranking students who meet the eligibility criteria.
