Wilf Simmonds Scholarship in Physiology
Applications are invited for a Wilf Simmonds Scholarship in Physiology to support a student research project during the long vacation.
An applicant shall normally:
- be enrolled as a full-time student at The University of Western Australia,
- have successfully completed at least two years of study in the discipline of Physiology, and
- be undertaking a research project in the School of Biomedical, Biomoleclar and Chemical Sciences of at least six and no more than eight weeks duration during the long vacation under the supervision of a member of staff from the School (Physiology).
The value of the Scholarship will be determined by Faculty, having regard to the recommendation of the Head of School, and will be payable on completion of the research project and on submission to the Head of School of a satisfactory report on the work carried out, from both the supervisor and the scholar.
