Macquarie Group Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship
|
Macquarie Group Foundation donates a sum of $6,000 annually to provide a scholarship to a UWA Business School undergraduate student who is completing the final 48 points of a course leading to the award of the Bachelor of Commerce, with one or more of the following majors:
- Financial Accounting,
- Managerial Accounting,
- Finance (Corporate),
- Finance (Investment), or
- Finance (Quantitative)
and who demonstrates academic achievement and leadership potential. |
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible to apply for the scholarship an applicant must—
- be a citizen or permanent resident of Australia;
- be completing the final 48 points of a course leading to the award of the Bachelor of Commerce, with one or more of the following majors: Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Finance (Corporate), Finance (Investment) or Finance (Quantitative).
Selection Criteria
The scholarship is awarded to the applicant who, in the opinion of the selection committee, best demonstrates through their application and supporting documentation:
- academic achievement;
- leadership potential.
Application Procedure
Written applications addressing the selection criteria must be accompanied by:
- a cover letter outlining the applicant's intentions, reasons for applying for the scholarship;
- a curriculum vitae that includes details of the following as appropriate:
- academic achievements;
- sporting activities and achievements;
- community service;
- participation in community, voluntary or other work;
- leadership positions held at school, or in the community;
