Jean Rogerson Undergraduate Scholarships in the Faculty of
Natural and Agricultural Sciences is to assist and encourage
students from rural, regional or remote Western Australia to
commence their undergraduate studies at the University by
enrolling in a bachelor’s degree course leading to a
Bachelor of Science degree in the Faculty of Natural and
Agricultural Sciences.
Up to four scholarships are available each year.

Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for the scholarship a student
must—
(a) be a citizen or permanent resident of Australia;
(b) be a resident of rural, regional or remote Western Australia;
and
(c) have applied through the Tertiary Institutions Services
Centre (TISC) for a place at the University nominating a course
in the Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences as their
first preference for the first round of offers.
To be eligible to take up the scholarship, the successful
applicant must be enrolled full-time in Level 1 units of an
undergraduate degree course leading to a Bachelor of Science
degree in the Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences, with
no credit for prior study.

Selection Criteria
The scholarship is awarded by the selection committee to the
eligible applicant who, in its opinion, best demonstrates
academic achievement as evidenced by their academic record i.e.
their Tertiary Entrance Aggregate (TEA).
Applications
Will be called for via Pandora Online Application System.
Applications open in January 2010.
