North West Shelf Venture Scholarship in Oil & Gas Process Engineering

A number of scholarships are available to students who intend to continue studies in Engineering with an interest in Oil and Gas Engineering.

Open to students in the Bachelor of Engineering or a Bachelor of Engineering combined degree who:
• In the Oil and Gas Engineering programme or the Mechanical Engineering programme with a major in Oil and Gas Engineering; and
• Have completed at least 96 points towards their course.

Eligibility

  • Citizen or permanent resident of Australia
  • enrolled in the Mech. Eng. programme with a major in Oil and Gas Engineering
  • completed a minimum of 96 points towards the BE or BE component of a combined course, and be enrolled in the year two units chosen from the Oil & Gas major in the Mech. Eng. Programme.

Selection criteria

On the basis of academic merit, determined by the weighted average mark in most recently completed units to the value of 48 points, which must include at least two units from the Oil & Gas Engineering Major.
