Laing O'Rourke Engineering Scholarship
Laing O'Rourke Ltd has established a scholarship to assist a meritorious student to study Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
The scholarship is valued at $10,00 per annum for up to three years and also gives the students the opportunity to: - undertake one period of up to 12 weeks vacation experience; - participate in the Laing O’Rourke Pty Ltd company mentoring programme; - receive mentoring from Laing O’Rourke Pty Ltd for their final year project; and - participate in ambassadorial roles offered by Laing O’Rourke Pty Ltd.

Up to 3 years
Eligibility
- Citizen or PR of Australia
- completed a minimum of 48 pts in Civil or Mechanical Engineering program (BE or BE combined degree)
- intending to enrol in units to a minimum value of 36 pts in the year which the scholarship would commence.
Applicant must not be in a position to complete the requirements of the BE before the end of the year in which the scholarship would commence.
Selection Criteria
Applicant who best demonstrates academic achievement as evidenced by
- their academic record; and
- leadership skills, communication and interpersonal skills.
