Ralph Pervan Scholarship
Each year Currie Hall seeks to support rural Western Australian students in their move to University studies by offering the Ralph Pervan Scholarship.
The scholarships guarantee a place in Currie Hall for the first academic year and provide free board for a period of up to 17 weeks in second semester.
Any student completing Year 12 at a secondary school in rural WA, and seeking admission to a course in The University of Western Australia in the following year, may apply for the award of one of the scholarships.
The award is made on the basis of the applicant’s potential to benefit from university studies and to contribute to the community both within the Hall and at large. The ideas for which Dr Pervan stood will be borne in mind when making the award. Thus, academic potential, citizenship, leadership and sporting qualities will all be taken into account. |
