Eiffel Doctoral Scholarships

Eiffel Dcotoral Scholarships are aimed at Australian stduents in a co-tutelle PhD between a French and Australian University, or a co-supervision PhD (the student is only registered in Australia, but has a joint supervisor in France).

The students selected can spend up to 10 months in France for their PhD research and receive a monthly allowance of 1400 euros ($2300). The airfare between Australia and France is also covered by the scholarship.

Please note that the application process is quite different from the usual application process for a grant: the application can only be lodged by a French university on behalf of the applicant.

The application deadline is 11 January 2008.
