Nutrition and Cardiovascular Disease

A PhD scholarships is available for research in the area of nutrition and cardiovascular disease.

Research includes epidemiology, clinical trials and/or laboratory studies. Focus is on cardiovascular health benefits of dietary phytochemicals.

Enrolment will be with the University of Western Australia. The research will be conducted within the School of Medicine and Pharmacology, Royal Perth Hospital.

Value

The scholarship is valued at $27,000pa.

Candidates bringing their own Australian Postgraduate Award or equivalent will receive a top-up scholarship to the value of $10,000pa tax free.

Eligibility

Australian Citizens or permanent residents with and honours degree or equivalent in nutrition, biological/biochemical sciences or a related discipline may apply.
