Garnett Passe and Rodney Williams Memorial Foundation Scholarships in Otorhinolaryngology
Applications are invited for Research Scholarships in Otorhinolaryngology or the related fields of biomedical science to commence in 2010. Individuals who are either medically qualified or science graduates, and who are, or will be, enrolled for a higher university degree, are eligible to apply. Scholarships will be for a period of up to three years, subject to satisfactory progress, and are tenable in Australian or New Zealand institutions. The stipend offered will be at the NH&MRC Medical/Dental Scholarship rate for medical graduates (currently AUD29,753) or the Biomedical (non MBBS) Scholarship rate for science graduates (currently AUD20,427) or equivalents in New Zealand. Successful applicants will also be provided with a supplementary allowance for minor items of equipment, consumables and travel of up to AUD7,500 per annum. Closing Date: 28 August 2009 Application Forms and Reports in Confidence must be received by no later than 5.00 pm on 28 August 2009 (i.e. the closing date). Late documents will not be accepted nor will emailed Application Forms and Reports in Confidence. Faxed Reports in Confidence are acceptable, however, originals are preferred.
