Prime Research/ACIL Tasman PhD Top-Up Scholarship

The Prime Research/ACIL Tasman PhD Scholarship is available as an annual ‘top-up’ scholarship to a student holding either an Australian Postgraduate Award (APA), an University Postgraduate Award (UPA), an International Postgraduate Research Award (IPRS), or China Scholarship for full-time research leading to the award of a PhD. Selection is based on the applicant's academic record and interview presentation, and on references. The scholarship is awarded for up to 3 years and consists of a $12,000 annual stipend in addition to either an APA or UPA.

The student holding this scholarship will be located within the Economics discipline of the UWA Business School and be required to conduct research in the area of general equilibrium modelling using the Tasman Global Model. Students with a strong academic background and an Honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline are encouraged to apply. An interest in general equilibrium modelling is essential.
