Eric & Shirley Barrington Scholarship

Eric and Shirley Barrington Scholarships are available to eligible domestic applicants (Australian and New Zealand citizens or an Australian permanent resident) to enrol in a higher degree by research in The University of Western Australia (UWA).

The scholarships are for financially disadvantaged students with demonstrated high academic achievement, whose financial circumstances would restrict their ability to complete a higher degree in a timely manner.

Value

The annual stipend rate is $30,000.

Applying

Applications must be completed online, in conjunction with the APA/UPA Postgraduate Research Scholarship round.

In addition, a Financial Hardship Statement form must be downloaded, completed, and submitted to the Scholarships Office in conjunction with the hard-copy documents in support of your online application.
