William and Marlene Schrader Postgraduate Scholarships

The William and Marlene Schrader Postgraduate Scholarships are being offered to encourage and further the study of Biomedical Engineering at The University of Western Australia.

Applications are called from candidates who are able to demonstrate that their economic circumstances would restrict their ability to complete the course in a timely manner, for one scholarship, tenable at the Faculty of Engineering, Computing and Engineering, The University of Western Australia, for up to three years.

Only graduates of this or another recognised university who are Australian citizens or Australian residents with permanent resident status are eligible for this award.

The scholarships provide a stipend equivalent to the Australian Postgraduate Award (Industry) Stipend ($26,669 per annum in 2009, indexed annually) plus a travel allowance of up to $5000.

Note: Unless an applicant has been accepted for candidature at this University, applicants for postgraduate research scholarships should apply for postgraduate research candidature through the Graduate Research School at The University of Western Australia.
