Samaha Research Scholarship

The generous bequest of Mr George Tonie Samaha funds a scholarship to enable and encourage students to pursue higher degrees by research in engineering at this University.

Duration 

The period of tenure of an award will be up to three years. 

Continuation into a second or third year depends upon the Scholarships Committee being satisfied that satisfactory progress has been made.

Value

This Scholarship may be awarded as a full scholarship and provide a stipend equivalent to the Australian Postgraduate Award (Industry) stipend ($26,669 per annum in 2009; indexed annually) or as a supplementary scholarship valued at $6,000 per annum.
