Theresa Symons Scholarships in Philosophy

The Theresa Symons Postgraduate Scholarship in Philosophy for 2010 will be valued at $8500 per annum. This is a supplementary scholarship to be held in conjunction with an Australian Postgraduate Award, a University Postgraduate Award or equivalent postgraduate research award or another full scholarship.

Please note: in addition to completing the online application form, applicants must also send the following documents directly to the Chair of the Discipline Group of Philosophy:

  • A covering letter, with an outline of no more than 250 words which explains how the applicant would benefit from the funds (for further details please see scholarship listing on Philosophy website);
  • and a writing sample of up to 5000 words.
