Postgraduate Scholarships
The University of Western Australia is one of Australia's leading research-intensive universities and the premier research institution in Western Australia. A defining characteristic of the University of Western Australia is the emphasis placed on research, research training and its international links. Research scholarships are offered for Australian and New Zealand citizens, Australian permanent residents, and international students to undertake postgraduate study at the University of Western Australia in all disciplines across the university to complement this emphasis: Local students
International Students
Unless an applicant has been accepted for candidature at the University of Western Australia, applicants for these postgraduate research scholarships should also apply for postgraduate research candidature. Exceptions to this are Australian Postgraduate Award / University Postgraduate Award scholarship applications, and International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS) / Scholarships for International Research Fees (SIRFs) / UWA China Scholarship applications, all of which double as applications for candidature. If you need information about the tax implications of your scholarship, please see Tax and Your Scholarship. Conditions of all the scholarships offered at UWA, as well as prizes and endowments, are published in the UWA publication Scholarships, Prizes and Endowments. | Incentives for Timely Completion |
